Job Description

We are seeking an automotive Billing / Accounting Clerk to join our winning team. The purpose of the Billing / Accounting Clerk is to accurately record the sale, profit, and commissions payable on all sold units and to maintain accurate accounting of vehicle inventories. What We Offer:

Responsibilities: Post and close all service internal invoices to proper accounts. Receive and process paperwork from the F&I department. We owe checks and checks to customers. Process payoff checks daily. Receipt money for cash and financed deals. Costing deals and finalizing to accounting. Report new vehicle sales to the manufacturer. (RDR) Process customer cancellations as down payment. Handles special clerical projects as instructed by the controller. Maintains a professional appearance, a neat work area and reliable attendance at scheduled shift. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications:

• Must be proficient on Reynolds and Reynolds.
• Must be have flexibility to work an occasional night and weekend when necessary due month end and workload needs.
• Must be dependable and detailed
• Must be accustomed to working under strict deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping theories and practices.
• Ability to handle responsibilities independently, with minimum supervision.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work well with people on all levels and be able to communicate effectively with them.
