Job Title: Control Room (Command Center)Operators
Location: Houston, Texas area

Type: Contract (temp to perm positions)
Compensation: $55 hourly (+/-)
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 12 hours shifts (both day shift and night shift are available)
Security Clearance: Background Clearance will be required by customer

Position Summary:
System One is seeking a seasoned  Control Room (Command Center) Operator with leadership experience along with strong knowledge of operating and troubleshooting of TM2500 and FT8 turbines/machines to supply temporary power to substation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the equipment on control panel
• Monitor and analyze equipment to determine proper operation, performing

• Perform testing on plant safety and non-safety related systems and components to ensure they are operating with technical specifications to ensure operability to maintain the plant operating
• Starts, stops, controls and monitors turbine generating equipment as required to maintain maximum station capability, including taking manual control of equipment as conditions warrant.
• Monitors control panels
• Communicates with Turbine Auxiliary Operators in the field at substations.

Qualifications

• 10 years of power generation experience
• Experience operating a TM2500 and FT8 is preferred
• PEC Safeland and H2S Clear Certification are required or ability to obtain
• Pratt Whitney Controls knowledge and or RX3I, Woodward Micronet+, Bently Nevada and Brush AVR
• Commissioning and start-up experience
