Job Description

Cybersecurity Engineer with hands-on technical expertise and a strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to support the cybersecurity lifecycle of DOD systems. This role demands a high degree of independence, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and in-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity standards. You will be responsible for securing systems from initial design through continuous monitoring, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  
• 5 + years’ experience in cybersecurity engineering, including applying (RMF).
  
• Strong working knowledge of NIST SP 800-series publications.
  
• Conduct system security assessments, including vulnerability scanning and architecture reviews.
  
• Familiarity with a range of security assessment tools 
  
• Experience working with both Linux and Windows environments.
  
• Experience in scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
  
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
