Under the general direction of the Administrator II in the Data Oversight Program unit, the incumbent performs the most complex and specialized duties related to the facilitation of data exchange agreements and technical aspects of data retention. The incumbent is responsible for the specialized duties in the administration of the following programs: Data Agreements Program, Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Information Reporting Program, Information Returns Program (IRP), City/County Business Tax Program (CCBT), Data Retention Program, Check Casher Program, and the 1099G/INT workload. The lead role requires the incumbent to provide guidance to other analysts in the unit. Their primary role is that of a department liaison and subject matter expert with regard to data security, data retention, enterprise level projects, and EDR program activities.

Position may be extended to up to 24 months or become permanent.

Working Conditions

• This position is eligible for limited remote working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework. This is subject to change.
