Job Description

Salary: $60,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• I require a minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a preference for PHP and/or Python.
• A strong grasp of relational databases and the capability to write and interpret complex SQL queries is essential.
• You should have at least 2 years of experience with MySQL databases and business intelligence tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of data visualization techniques are necessary.
• Comfort with Linux and command-line operations is expected.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• I am looking for a self-starter who takes initiative, learns quickly, and can effectively work without constant supervision.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere are important.
• Experience with virtualization (VMWare), VOIP technologies, or Machine Learning/AI would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• I will require you to work closely with management and end-users to assess application requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
• You will be tasked with converting designs and concepts into stable, functional, and maintainable applications.
• Developing clean, well-structured, and efficient code will be your responsibility.
• Conducting ad-hoc data analysis and offering technical support to operations managers will be part of your role, assisting them in interpreting dashboards and insights.
• You will be expected to write and optimize complex SQL queries and work extensively with relational databases.
• Building and employing data models, as well as leveraging BI tools to support data-driven decision-making, will be key functions.
• Collaboration with team members to deliver enhancements, introduce new features, and swiftly resolve issues will also be essential.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve existing applications will be part of your responsibilities.
• Finally, delivering high-quality work on time while maintaining a keen attention to detail will be required.
