What You’ll Do:

• Monitor and interpret laws, regulations, and industry guidelines to ensure adherence.
• Work proactively with departments and management to identify and implement changes.
• Elevates high profile or high-risk matters to the Director of Compliance.
• Provide advisory service on compliance matters to management.

What We Need:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Credit Union Compliance Certification (CUCO or CUCE) or similar certification through an accredited organization. If not certified at time of position appointment individuals will complete certification within six months of appointment to position. Certified individuals will complete compliance classes no less than once every quarter and will keep certification active.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance and/or operations in the financial industry.
• Prior management experience required
• Ability to work independently with only broad mission-type guidance, delivering desired products under strict time constraints.
• Expertise in NCUA regulations, CFPB guidelines and other applicable financial laws
• Knowledge of/experience in applying compliance/auditing principles, practices, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and procedures.
• Experience in lending compliance (Mortgage and Consumer)
• Ability to understand complex legal and regulatory material and apply to work situations.
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

Salary Info:

$67,528.27 - $84,410.34 / annually
