Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our production operations. You will be required to ensure that manufacturing operations remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

In an environment like production, the Production Manager is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.

Must be a hands-on leader who is able to effectively promote cooperation and coordination across the organization to ensure quality control and efficiency. This role will be required to handle many tasks at once and requires strong organizational and time management talents.

Must have a proven work experience in meeting production goals, high quality control standards, and meeting performance metrics such as; on-time delivery, commitment accuracy, Quality, and inventory target levels. Demonstrated ability to creatively solve difficult problems.

The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to requirements and specifications
• Submit KPI’s, and reports, on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use tools, equipment, and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven experience as Production Manager or similar role within a minimum of 5 years recently
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing equipment and tools
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a dynamic team based environment
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to drive both a fork lift and a company vehicle occasionally and when needed
• Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations.
• Able to provide references upon request
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to carry at least 50 pounds
