Job Title: Loss Prevention and Safety Officer

Department: Human Resource

Reports to: Director of Safety and Loss Prevention

Position: Full-Time, Non-Set Schedule

Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA

Pay Rate: $17.00-$21.00.

Santa Monica Seafood Company is seeking a Loss Prevention and Safety Officer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team dedicated to serving our employees in ensuring a safe and secure work environment.

Job Duties:

• Patrols all areas of the property.
• CCTV monitoring and perimeter alarm system.
• Respond to accidents in warehouse.
• Assist guest/employees during emergency situations.
• Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related Incidents.
• Maintain confidentiality of all safety and security matters.
• Conduct investigations and gather evidence.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training when needed.
• BSIS guard card required

Requirements:

• Two years of security experience
• Bilingual is a plus- English/Spanish
• Must be flexible, available to work weekends and graveyards.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
• Move, lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50lbs.
