Pollmeier, the world market leader in hardwood processing, is looking for an experienced

Sales Consultant (m/f/d) - Japan

to start as soon as possible andjoin our team from Japan. 

Job responsibilities / What you move with us:

• Take full ownership of sales, promotion, and distribution for the Pollmeier product range.
• Develop and expand relationships with wholesalers and key players in the furniture and wood product industry.
• Build and nurture strong customer connections, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Represent Pollmeier at trade fairs, showcasing our innovative product offerings.
• Actively acquire new customers and drive business growth with a hands-on approach.
• Monitor market trends, analyze demand, and stay ahead of the competition.
• Collaborate closely with our head office in Germany, including preparing quarterly  and annual sales plans.
• Document all sales activities using SAP.

Requirements / What convinces us: 

• Proven experience in sales (3+ years), ideally in the furniture, doors, mouldings, or wooden products sector.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive mindset with a customer-first attitude.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliability, team spirit, and the drive to achieve results.
• High willingness to travel regularly within Japan.
• Language skills: Native Japanese with good English skills, any additional language will be considered a plus.
