Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future. As a Senior QA engineer, you will be a key contributor in ensuring the quality of Huron's enterprise applications. The successful candidate will help define and ensure that Huron's applications meet high standards for reliability, usability, and performance. You will work closely with the product management and engineering teams in the design, implementation, release, and maintenance of multi-user, dynamic, web-based and analytics applications. Requires a passion for delivering exceptional products, the curiosity and drive to learn client application usage patterns and behaviors, the technical skills to develop reusable and automated tests to ensure high quality user experience and the independence and persistence to own and drive quality through the life cycle of the product. **Primary Responsibilities** + Ensure release deadlines are met at 100% on time with high quality objective and P1 defects are not encored by the release. + Reviews technical designs documents and contributes towards product architecture discussions. + Participates in design reviews and provides input to design recommendations where necessary. + Estimates QA points on User stories and bugs - Writes & Executes test plans and test cases. - Generates test data for assigned projects to fill test data gaps on projects. + Writes UI Performance and Database queries and ensures no performance debt is generated on assigned projects. + Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency. + Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking activities. + Provide support in project design, development, and deployment activities. + Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures. + Participates in reviewing tasks check-ins from other QA Analysts on the team. + Knowledgeable on build/deploy process and can perform deploys to QA and UAT environments without supervision. + Provides leverage to QA lead by moderating bug scrub meetings when required. + Provides leverage to QA lead by identifying release risks and escalating as appropriate. + Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. **Qualifications** + 5+ years of industry experience as a professional QA Test engineer using Selenium along with JAVA. + Gather Performance Testing Requirements. Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability. + Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing Performance tests utilizing tools. such as JMeter, Load Runner, Gatling. + Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes. + Work with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases. + Good to have the expertise in Developing automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing. + Generate test summary reports for management review. Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions. + SoapUI - Experience in API testing, XML, Web Services, REST API. + Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) using Devops Azure or similar strongly preferred. + Experience with test case management tools, such as Microsoft Test Manager. + Experience creating and maintaining Performance frameworks preferred. + Experience using SQL to query databases preferred. + Experience with change management and defect tracking tools. + Experience working with an offshore team preferred. + Experience working in new product development setting under an Agile Methodology. + Experience with Health care domain is preferred.
