Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator with experience in sewing drapery to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with industrial sewing machines and understand various drapery styles, fabrics, and finishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce custom drapery products according to specifications
• Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and fabric layouts
• Sew hems, pleats, linings, and other components as required
• Measure and cut fabric accurately using standard tools
• Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized sewing station
• Assist in other textile or sewing-related tasks as needed
• Follow safety and operational procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a sewing machine operator, specifically with drapery or home textiles
• Proficient in handling different fabrics (e.g., sheer, blackout, linen)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and measurements accurately
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically able to sit, sew, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
