jetCenter locations include: Colorado Springs, CO, Denver, CO and Fort Collins-Loveland, CO

The Denver (APA) location specifically is seeking to fill a Shop Manager position, which reports into the Director of Operations.    

This individual must have strong mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative care for ground service equipment. Must have the following skills: Leadership, workforce planning, inventory management, and ability to manage regulatory compliance of equipment.Must be able to ensure safety protocols are followed, effectively communicate with management, staff and vendors. Must be able to prioritize tasks and adapt to new technologies / regulations. 

This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the shop to include:

  • Manage shop employees
  • Preventative Maintenance Checks
  • Strong problem solving / trouble shooting skills
  • ATA/ PMs on equipment
  • Order parts and supplies
  • Inventory management
  • Prioritization of tasks / Delegation
  • Preparation of Weekly Agenda
  • Maintain online reporting using Fleetio
  • Documentation
  • Safety
  • Shop organization & cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:

  • Age 21
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written and and oral form
  • Strong listening skills
  • Must be a team Player
  • Must be a quick learner
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • A basic knowledge and understanding of computers
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have problem solving / conflict resolution skills, but know when to escalate
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, security check, motor records check and non-DOT physical, post offer; certain positions may require a credit check.

Must possess: 1) ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, safety guides, and other written materials necessary to perform job; 2) sufficient visual capacity to perform the applicable functions without assistance of visual aids other than eye contacts or eye glasses; 3) sufficient spoken aural capacity to hear and understand instructions, warning bells, fire alarms, or shouted instructions without assistance of auditory aids other than a hearing aid; and 4) ability to impart information orally so that others understand and can respond appropriately.

Prior Fleet Maintenance experience

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation includes a base salary and competitive benefits package.

Salary Range

$27-37 per hour, commensurate experience
