Job Description

Seeking a Skid/Mill Operator for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Lebanon, TN.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!  

Pay is between $28 - $32 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Perform work in accordance with local, commercial, and DOT specifications.
• Complete jobs within budget and on time.
• Coordinate between other crews, subs, and vendors.
• Operate the milling machine to mill to desired grades and elevations to meet job specifications.
• Thorough understanding of the paving industry including prep work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, compaction, and other details related to asphalt paving.
• Instruct crew members in a professional manner in order to relay expectations and instill motivation.
• Work alongside crew members and assist in all capacities of applications.
• Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes.
• Respond to internal and external requests and provide high quality support to customers and colleagues.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every contact.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Asphalt milling experience required.
• Ability to operate a Wirtgen Milling Machine or one similar; minimum 2-3 years of experience.
• Ability to operate a Skid Steer, Paver, Roller
• Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
