Overview:

The YMCA is seeking Youth Basketball Officials for programs. This position is part time . Games are scheduled Friday nights 4:30 to 9:15PM and Saturday s 8:30AM-4PM .

Salary range: $15-$30/hour based on experience, availability and certifications. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in officiating and parent interaction
• Ensuring games run smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule.
• Other duties as assigned

Throughout the year we hire basketball, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball and lacrosse officials and instructors in Boulder, Johnstown, Lafayette, Loveland and Longmont; if this season isn't a match, please check our website.

Qualifications:

• Age 15 years or older
• Significant involvement and understanding of the sport
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days
• Ability to organize and engage groups of children
• Know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill
• Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members

Posted Salary Range: USD $15.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
